Primavera Sound. May 28-30, 2009

You know it’s Spring when this bombastic festival rolls around. Primavera Sound is one of those festivals that just make you glad to be alive: 3 days of euphoric sonic bliss awaits all those who enter the Parc del Fòrum from May 28^th-30^th 2009.

Confirmed artists for Primavera 2009 include Aphex Twin, Jarvis Cocker, and Neil Young (who’s playing in Barcelona for the first time in over 20 years!) Add Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and Michael Nyman, and a goldmine of others for near and distant lands and you’re starting to get the picture.

Besides the grand slam at the Forum, showcase events will also take place in the Apolo On May 25^th, 26^th and 27^th, and at the Joan Miró park on May 30^th and 31st.

Tickets are already on sale and until April 15^th cost 145 Euros for the 3-day event. One-day tickets are on sale at a price of 60 € (subject to booking fee) also until April 15th.
