LP ’09, dance… or not. March 6-14, 2009
The festival that refreshed our ways of seeing and expanded our idea of dance is back, connecting Barcelona audiences with some of the most advanced trends on the national and international scene: stage Produced bys, audiovisuals, installations, actions and contextualising activities.
LP’09 – Dance… or not has an antifreeze effect on the minds of observers, boosts personal criteria and favours opportunities for personal and collective sensibilities. A program that turns to movement as the best way to “publish” the ideas, processes and actions of guest artists, offering a vision of the evolution of dance as a vehicle for perception and knowledge.
As in the first season, the CCCB and the Mercat de les Flors will be the main venues for the festival as it continues to strive for the renewal of languages based on a commitment to risk and experimentation.
