Mobile World Congress. February 16-19, 2009
February welcomes the 4th edition of The GSMA Mobile World Congress (formerly 3GSM World Congress), which is basically the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry. This stimulating and insightful congress brings together prominent leaders and personalities from mobile operators and equipment vendors, as well as Internet and entertainment professionals
The agenda is made up of presentations, forums, seminars and talks. The keynotes speakers include representatives from the mobile heavyweights such as Vittorio Colao, Chief Executive, Vodafone and Steve Ballmer the CEO at Microsoft to stars from the arts such as Kevin Spacey or William from the Black Eyed Peas.
All the movers and shakers of operators, value-added service providers and equipment and device manufacturers make up the approximately 50,000 attendees and over 1,200 exhibitors. Anybody who is anybody in the global mobile world will be here to see, exhibit or network.
